Social Netowrking not just for the kids!!

This post is for all of you out there who thought social networking was just something the younger generation of today does. Well you’re wrong! Social networking has exploded and the whole population is reaping the benefits. Saga Zone site was developed by the Saga Group, based in Folkestone, Kent, which specializes in products and services for the over-50s. vquzeshuf. Some 13,000 people signed up to the site, which includes forums on subjects from gardening tips to relationship advice, in a trial four months ago. The oldest member is said to be 87 years old! People retire in different parts of the country and they don't live near their extended family," he said. "Saga Zone is good because it will engage older people with another technology” says Psychology professor Cary Cooper, from the University of Lancaster. One thing that many people are concerned with is the fact that social networking is starting to hinder on eyeball to eyeball contact. However I feel that it only improves this.
